Returning home to your authentic self
I know what it feels like to struggle. A lack of self-worth and feelings of hopelessness first led me to a therapist’s couch. I was surprised to discover that, while I had plenty of insight, I didn’t truly know how I felt. I could intellectualize my experience, but I wasn’t embodied.
That realization sparked my journey back to my body — the very body that had been supporting and sustaining me all along.
My own transformation taught me that real, lasting change must involve the body. Healing begins with finding safety in the here and now — and that safety lives in the body. We inhabited our bodies long before we could speak a word and they hold deep wisdom.
What does this mean for you? It means you’ll have a therapist who is curious not only about what you’re thinking but also about what you’re feeling. Someone who sees the whole picture — not just your symptoms.
